Avoid Constipation: Get your bowel movement back on track!

Constipation is sometimes usual for some people. If you’re constipated it means your bowel movement is irregular. The common length of time between your bowel movements may depend generally from one person to the other. Although some people have lapses going this natural activity, but when it happens habitually, then maybe it’s already a serious health issue. Actually, after 3 days or more is actually long enough. The stool will become harder and difficult to pass.

In order to get your bowel movement back on track, take note with the following common causes of triggering it:
  • Eating disorders
  • Consuming too much dairy products
  • Being inactive and sluggish
  • Taking antacid medicines that contain calcium or aluminum or any strong drugs like narcotics, iron pills, and antidepressants.
  • Changes in natural activities and eating regimen
  • Less intake of water
  • No fiber ingestion
  • Colon cancer
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Stuffing yourself with laxatives
  • Resisting to have a bowel movement
  • stress
  • Pregnancy
Here are simple ways to do to totally avoid constipation if done on a regular basis:
  • Drink 2-4 glasses of water immediately when you wake in the morning before you brush your teeth (this is advised to avoid ingesting of fluoride).
  • Warm liquids are good.
  • Drink a glass of water before you eat your meal for better digestion.
  • Fruits and vegetables to add in your diet are highly recommended.
(Note: if you have other health issue, make sure to know the limit measure of water you can drink a day; otherwise, drinking much water is not advised.)
